I've been watching the suspension of the formal education system for our state students with growing alarm. Am I the only one? Does anyone else look on this with growing alarm that many of our underprivileged (or just struggling) students will give up on returning to school? That if apprenticeships aren't put urgently in place for both boys and girls, they could become a lost generation?
AIBU to think this is a brewing national disaster for our less privileged students and that secondary needs to be reinstated under urgency?
