Answering a question in a panic

Has anyone else ever done this?

On a walk with DC a couple of weeks ago, I was busy in my brain with work stuff and parent thoughts and adulting.

DD 1 blindsided me by randomly asking what my name is.

In a moment of blind panic I answered .....

'griffin pants'.

I have no idea why. And now I have to answer to Griffin pants through my own folly 😂

Has anyone else come out with a stupid panic answer?

Your dd didn't know your name? Don't they call you mum? I think I've misunderstood your post!

Of course they know my name! I think they were playing a game and I wasn't listening, the point was about answering a question you weren't really listening to in a panic and giving a random answer!

If anyone has any to contribute I could use a giggle to cheer me up

I was miles away when supposed to be listening to my daughter read.

DD: They opened the door and went into the tent. Why do you think they went into the tent mummy?

Me: with great authority and with sleep deprivation and baby brain They were going to see Gus Honeybun.

I have never lived it down.
