Challenge to the rules on legal aid in domestic violence cases. Victims of domestic violence are being left to self-represent against their abusers because they co-own their homes with their abusive partners - even though they cannot sell or mortgage those homes to raise money without the consent of the abuser. It's manifestly ludicrous that they should be refused legal aid when they would otherwise qualify.
All power to the Public Law Project and the woman they are supporting.
