I thought you might be interested to see an individual 50 years ago using exactly that point, every time Jim Brown tries to explain why Black Americans (and Native Americans) needed resources directed to them the governor said "what about white people?" "What about all people"? This is the same argument used for those resisting the phrase "Black Lives Matter".
