Where can I donate TV?

Posting here for traffic,

A very lovely and well meaning DAunt gave me a Television as a belated housewarming present.

Trouble is, I really don’t use a TV. If I want to watch something I’ll use my laptop or iPad. A telly just takes up a load of space that I don’t really have.

I very gently told my lovely aunt that it was incredibly kind of her but exactly what I have written above. The only reason being that she might comment on it not being there when she visited.

Anyway I offered to give it back to her for a refund. But she said that the best gift to her would be for me to donate it to someone who really wanted/needed it.

So that’s what I’m going to do.

But I don’t even know where to begin.

How about contacting a charity like the Salvation Army or The Society of St Vincent de Paul. I am sure that they would both have deserving households who would love a television for their children. Don't put it on FB as some chancer might ask for it so as to be able to sell it.
