I have a bmi of 40 (working on losing weight) and I usually have a cycle between 32 and 36 days. I've now missed 2 periods, it's been 90 days since the beginning of my last period. I do sometimes have irregular periods but never this delayed. Could this be due to being overweight? I will ring the Dr's if I've not had anything in a few weeks. I'm not pregnant

Iam having the same problem the doctors always tell me it's nothing to worry about.

I have had 1 this year in March.

And last year had 3

I get pains quite bad though my bmi is 45 so if I lose weight maybe they will return.

Being very overweight when tied to a metabolic or thyroid condition can be an explanation. But if you normally have regular periods with a 40 BMI then any change needs to be taken seriously. I don’t want to scare you but certain cancers are far more likely when you have a high bmi so definitely get this checked out.

Oh gosh don't say that I've got such bad health anxiety :( I'll give it a couple of weeks then I'll ring the docs

Fellow fatty here! Yes it does, I've been told i have cushings, this is because of my weight and I'm losing now. I had a year of basically nothing, or I'd go like 3 months and have a day of bleeding and that was it. Not i have spotting most days. I'm 34 by the way
