What size tee?

Sorry not aibu but I need a quick answer. I'm ordering a t-shirt my dd wants as one of her bday gifts, but the website states the sizes in kids small, kids medium, kids large instead of by age. They don't provide any measurements either. What size would an average 10 year old be? I've always brought her clothes in age not size, so rather confused. I think it's from an American brand but sold from UK if that makes any difference. Thanks

Is there not a size guide on the website? Most sites have one measuring sizes by inches or cm.

TooMinty yes I will, but as for now I need it ordered asap. My dd bday is only a couple of weeks away so was hoping someone might have an idea what size I should buy.

But how can anyone here know? I'm not being snarky but what does it mean if I tell you to go for the L? Or maybe the S?

Gap kids m is 8-9 so I would go for a L as she's 10
