“Equal justice under the law must mean every American receives equal treatment in every encounter with law enforcement regardless of race, color, gender or creed. They have to receive fair treatment from law enforcement.”
The president then appeared to veer from his prepared remarks, saying, “We all saw what happened last week. We can’t let that happen. Hopefully George is looking down right now and saying, ‘This is a great thing that’s happening for our country.’ This is a great day for him. It’s a great day for everbody. This is a great day for everybody. This a great, great day in terms of equality.”

The words of this truly evil, manipulative and callous man to a wash of poorly educated people who lap up his utter crap should be spread far and wide around the world and we should urge our governments to speak out loudly against this racist, ignorant man. People may have thought is presidency funny or somewhat amusing but he has gone too time and again and now he crosses a line.

This deliberate ignorance and nastiness is used to provoke us further, so he can send in the army within his country and urge more incidents of prejudice here in the U.K.

You should be banned for this.

Why? Because I don't like fake news? We all know he's dreadful but we don't have to twist his words every time he speaks.

FuckThisWind · 05/06/2020 20:38

@Clavinova you've proved yourself time and again to be a right wing copy and pasting bot. I've had enough of you. Have some bloody respect for once in your life, will you.

Batshittery · 05/06/2020 20:39

I certainly did not vote for Boris the buffoon. He is almost as bad as Trump. Just as racist but hides it marginally better. Boris is also an arse hole in my opinion.

BlackBucketOfCheese · 05/06/2020 20:40

Ah so now the Obamas didn’t do enough despite being prevented from doing so at nearly every turn.
Naughty little black people.

I mean they did completely view the way many employers, educational institutions and media outlets look at and talk about/to black people worldwide.

And if you think Obama care wasn’t an initiative to help and change things for those in persecuted communities then you’re deluded.

Or Michelle Obama’s thirst for fitness and healthy food for children wouldn’t impact black and children of colour in economically deprived areas. Sure.

mbosnz · 05/06/2020 20:42

Oh For God's sake. (Given the buffoon couldn't hold the Bible rightside up, let alone name a passage).

Fake News? Heard it from his own bloody lips. In light of everything else he and his flunkies have said this week.

What a pillock. We don't have to twist his words, unless it's to try and distort them into something less inane and utterly offensive.

Batshittery · 05/06/2020 20:42

Trump did say this was a great day for George. No it's not. George is dead. Murdered.
Trump also said that he had done great things for equality. Really? What has he done for equality?
The only fake news is coming out of Trump's mouth.

midwestsummer · 05/06/2020 20:45

It is a good day for Trump because the employment numbers are much better than expected, he is trying to make the economy the focus of his re election campaign.
He struggles to understand that just because it is a good day for him it doesn't mean it is a good day for everyone, including someone recently murdered by the police.

Obama has the global economic crisis to deal with and then with a congress apposed to him spend the rest of his political capitol on healthcare. ( Although a fantastic speaker I'm not personally convinced he was the most effective politician in government)

baroqueandblue · 05/06/2020 20:45

@FuckThisWind thank you for putting that into words, it really resonates with me.

I'm going through a long and rude awakening to my own unconscious racism. I hope I never unintentionally cause anyone pain because of what goes deep in me due to the cultural context I was raised in and the fear of not seeing just how pernicious it is. Racism is a very sad disease to carry. It is 'social distancing' that we don't even see, and much more besides. I feel profound sadness at our institutionalised shaming and murdering of black people. I'm trying to wake up as fully as I can and hope to contribute to the world soul that way. But there is so much we don't see until it's too late. We all need to stop and grieve our lost humanity and truly feel our collective insanity. Why must a parent live day in day out with the fear that waving their kids off might be the last time they see them alive just because of the colour of their skin?

Can the Trumps of this world ever care enough to see that horrific injustice for what it is?

MrsExpo · 05/06/2020 20:46

Just watched this replayed. It’s not often I’m rendered completely speechless but. ................. ............ Shock Angry Shock ........

Legoandloldolls · 05/06/2020 20:47

He is a dick of the highest order.

GF needs to be on the mortal plain watching his kids grow up.

Vile fuckwit

BlackBucketOfCheese · 05/06/2020 20:49

Clavinova

He took the name of a black man killed in his country and used it to promote himself, his government and his policies.

He said this day was great for George and that equality happens under the law and all Americans must be treated equally. He is using the cause of justice and liberation for black Americans, he is using the name of a dead man killed by police brutality, he is USING us.
He uses this words after threatening people with being shot. The president threatened his population with being shot if they asked to live. And NOW he is using them to look good.

OP posts:
Serin · 05/06/2020 20:49

He needs an urgent cognitive assessment.
I imagine that it would be difficult to order this.

FuckThisWind · 05/06/2020 20:51

@baroqueandblue I felt I fell short. But I tried with all my heart to say how I feel.

user764329056 · 05/06/2020 20:55

I fear that all his demented supporters will be out in their droves to vote in November, he truly is Teflon, nothing sticks and he gets away with it all, the situation can only get worse as he plumbs new depths between now and election

mbosnz · 05/06/2020 20:57

'They have to receive same treatment'?*

They?

Who is They? Americans of a different colour?

Playing to a very old fucking hymn book. Invoke racism, while still being reasonably careful not to outright cite race.

baroqueandblue · 05/06/2020 20:59

Yes OP, I can see that Trump is using George Floyd's murder to try to score political points. He is not qualified to utter that man's name until he unreservedly apologises for what's happening to black people and other people of colour under the 'watch' of his so-called presidency 💕

Clavinova · 05/06/2020 20:59

inane and utterly offensive.

I agree that Trump is inane and offensive - all the time - but he wasn't referring to jobs and the economy in the context of that particular quote.

ChewtonRoad · 05/06/2020 21:00

Trump's insult of George Floyd and his family was purposeful and horrible. After that he shouldn't be allowed to speak Mr Floyd's name except to apologise.

Trump started from a base of stupidity. He's not intelligent, he's uneducated, won't be briefed, couldn't write "bum" on a wall without help, and doesn't give a fuck that he's stupid. He's a sociopath as well as a racist, misogynistic, lying, rapist who would kill his family if it gave him fucking ratings.

I think he's got frontal lobe dementia. He's disinhibited, can't put a coherent sentence together, and behaves worse than any spoiled child.

Right now his wilful racism and complete misunderstanding of why black people are rightfully angry is putting a match to a flame. He must be stopped.

mbosnz · 05/06/2020 21:01

The poor little man suffers from word salad.

mbosnz · 05/06/2020 21:02

@ChewtonRoad? Respect.

frumpety · 05/06/2020 21:03

So he did say it after the equality part of his speech ?

TheTiaraManager · 05/06/2020 21:06

What he said about a murdered man was horrific. Completely disrespectful to him, his family and his loved ones. To then end it with“ Nobody’s ever done for the black community what President Trump is doing.”

WTAF!?!?!?

mbosnz · 05/06/2020 21:07

To then end it with“ Nobody’s ever done for the black community what President Trump is doing.”

It's been a while since it's been set on fire, both literal and spiritual, like this. But it's great to see that the Black Community is not standing alone.

OldLace · 05/06/2020 21:10

It's an overused term but I believe he is GASLIGHTING America.

Invoking George Floyd's name in this way is quite deliberate.

He's trying to stoke racial tensions by this, not ease them.

He WANTS this to escalate. He is truly evil, in my opinion.

iklboo · 05/06/2020 21:13

He's not going to be happy until his country, if not the world, burns. He still thinks he's the CEO of a business where his word is final and people are collateral damage. That's why he was talking about the economy like he was presenting to a board of shareholders. He's a nightmare I wish I could wake up from.
