Not sure if I’m being my typical paranoid myself or not.. my 6 year old girl isn’t feeling too good today.. sickness, fatigue and I’ve noticed on the bony part behind her ear it’s slightly swollen. I’ve done the worst possible thing and Googled it and it came up mastoiditis which would need hospital treatment.. or it could be just a swollen lymph node.
She hasn’t had any ear infections or any illness recently. Her ear isn’t bent forward it’s just a small lump. I would usually get checked straight away but with COVID going on I don’t want to take her to get checked or waste peoples time for a swollen lymph node. Plus my littlest child is awaiting COVID results due to high fever.
Really need advice on the best thing to do.
