BLM. This is outrageous and yet this never gets quoted in amongst the mass hysteria of Covid 19.

In 2018, there were an estimated 405 000 deaths from malaria globally.

Children aged under 5 years are the most vulnerable group affected by malaria. In 2018, they accounted for 67% (272 000) of all malaria deaths worldwide.

Most malaria cases in 2018 were in the World Health Organization (WHO) African Region (213 million or 93%).

I agree that malaria is a serious problem. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has (and continues to) invested millions of dollars in combatting it but as you say there are still a huge number of unnecessary deaths which is terrible.

But I'm a bit confused by your post. You've enabled the voting but haven't said what your actual AIBU is.
