To think we can't have nits?

My daughter has been absolutely nowhere for 11 weeks - garden and walks with me only.

She has nits and a proper thorough comb through tonight has found just 1 live louse! Where on earth has this come from?

have you checked yourself and other household members too?

lice can't jump or fly so can only get to a head through head to head touching or sharing of hair brushes without cleaning in between. the bugs have an entire lifecycle of only 30 days from egg till death normally.

Yes we've checked everyone else. It's a mystery!
