Reasons for late period

Name change for this post.
I had a baby last June. My periods started again at the beginning of February. From then they were every four weeks on the dot, I've always been very regular. Just realised that I'm now eight days late. I've sent my husband running for a pregnancy test. We haven't had unprotected sex but have been using condoms as I was told by my GP that there was a waiting list for a coil (which I was using when I got pregnant the first time!!) and then coronavirus happened and I couldn't get one...
Anywho... Are there other reasons why my period would go away? Never happened to me before and not sure why at all.

Forgot to say that I'm posting here for traffic.

It can be lots of things - stress, diet, exercise, change of routine. A pregnancy test is a sensible move but there could be lots of explanations!

I missed one completely when TTC. I think it was stress related.

There's a whole thread on the coronavirus board of people with strange, delayed periods during lockdown.

If I am ever really late (like weeks) then a pg test always seems to bring on my period. It's obviously not scientific, just a weird coincidence!

Hope you get the result you want.
