We use a payroll service by the name of Nanny Tax, they have been an absolute nightmare to deal with. We initially furloughed our nanny for the whole of April and mid May.
We used the Nanny tax form to notify them that we wanted to let our nanny start work in mid May when government guidelines were lifted. This involved notifying nanny tax via a form on their site.
We then get an incorrect payslip that showed furlough pay for the whole of May.
We immediately notify them that this is wrong.
Get a message saying it would take longer then normal to respond, fair enough but its now been over 3 weeks. I also tried to call them over the phone had to wait over 70 mins and then they just hung up when I it was my turn. I tried calling the subscriptions line and that they answered relatively quickly and I asked them to escalate this. The lady on the phone said she will let them know.
We still have not heard, I have just had to pay our nanny what we could but the payslip is wrong and we did not receive anything from the government for the furlough. I have no idea what we will pay for employers liability.
I feel like this is really the poorest of services, even in the past they regularly have messed up payroll.
Any ideas what I can do to let everyone know how bad this service is and how I can get the correct calculations done?
