For starters, I get that these things need doing and it's a good time to get things done because there's fewer people on the road (theoretically). But why is every fucking road a hole at the minute?
I work 20 miles from home - nearest city to where I live so not an uncommon commute, theres 3 main routes I can take. All 3 of those currently have some form of roadworks on them- temp lights, reduced speeds, closures. Half the diversions take you down roads that have been dug up as well.
Taken me over an hour to get home tonight instead of ~30 minutes.
So, AIBU to be really pissed off that those of us who still have reason to travel, just can't? And to wish they'd bloody finish one part before they started the next.
