21 month old stopped talking

So my 21 month isn't talking, she was talking right up until this whole covid shit kicked off and the nursery closed, we moved and she also had an ear infection. It's still not picked up.

Has anyone had any experience with a speech regression?

Health visitor has told me it can be normal of her comprehension is coming in other areas?

Sorry to post in AIBU but this page gets a lot of traffic.

Hey I would get her hearing checked out. Sometimes that can have an impact on speech

AvadaKadavra · 31/05/2020 22:59

@DrManhattan thank you, I think I will but with everything going on at the moment it's impossible to get an appointment, it's happened at a really rubbish time. She answers to her name though and hear things I'm sure.

This thread may be of some help? I actually thought you had reposted!

@sparepantsandtoothbrush thanks I'll have a read, she isn't really showing any other signs of regression though. What does it mean by true regression. Sorry if that's a stupid question.
