AIBU to expect UK sizing?

Just received some shoes I ordered on eBay from a UK seller. The description read ‘Used (brand of shoe) size 6 (colour)’. They’ve arrived and are in good condition but are a USA 6 not a UK 6 and so far too small. AIBU to request a refund based on this? Genuinely unsure if I’m unreasonable to expect the sizings to be uk or not? (I buy all my clothes from eBay and similar and never had this problem before)

YANBU: UK sellers should use UK sizing, request a refund

YABU: just give them to a friend with smaller feet!

It depends if anywhere on the listing it mentions US size ,if the seller is from America or if it's an American brand only. Basically if there was any indication that the size would be American.

You can message the seller explain the confusion and see what they suggest.

It’s very annoying but you should always check what type of sizing they’re using. YABU although you could request a refund (or give to a friend)
