It is a frankly bizarre video, but it was made by STV not the SNP. It’s been taken down by STV as a clear breach of their impartiality rules. It’s wrong but wasn’t created by the SNP.

I didn’t say it was made by the SNP. But the thought that anyone would imagine it was a good idea, let alone a TV company, is just bizarre.

I mean yes it is nauseating and weird but I can't see anything that suggests this is some sort of official SNP video.

You didn’t but the tweet you shared suggested that it was. It claims that the video shows the SNP are brainwashing children into worshipping NS, which seems like a somewhat hysterical interpretation of the situation.

They do brainwash the young. It’s despicable. Their antics during the vote was shocking and something should’ve been done about it

I think Nicola has done a good job. I have no issue with children saying thank you to our democratically elected first minister. Same as birthday wishes to the queen or thanking the NHS.
