To ask if the Dyson air purifier/cooler is worth the cost?

Hayfever is killing me, I get it really severely.

Had a look at the Dyson but its £500! I would have to pay for it in installments.

Is it worth it? Is it a magical device that will enable me to sleep without feeling like I am suffocating?

Is there a better or cheaper alternative?

It has worked very well for my allergies, I put it on for a few hours in the bedroom but I cannot sleep with it on. On the auto it always goes to full blast as soon as a neighbour lights a BBQ. As a fan just for cooling mine is very average.

I'm so blocked up and my face is burning. I need sleep and I'm fed up with this every year.

I'll pay £500 if it works, but dont want to waste that kind of money either.
