This thread is quite timely for me, whilst on lockdown I’ve been watching her old concerts through the years whilst on my treadmill, and the one I love the most is the ‘The Virgin’ tour, it’s such a simple concert compared to the production they are now but it’s such a joy to watch, particularly ‘Dress you Up’ and ‘Into the groove’. I remember at the time I just wanted to be her, I thought she was the coolest woman on the planet.

Borderline not one of my faves... Dress You Up, Holiday, Get in to the Groove, La Isla, Deeper and Deeper from the olden days 👵🏼

Frozen, Amazing (again, no mentions, massive choon!), Hung Up, Take a Bow from her more ‘recent‘ stuff... anyone else feeling their age when they realise Hung Up is FIFTEEN years old.

I do love Borderline and adored the video when I was a teen, but my top three Madonna would be Like a Prayer, Crazy for You and La Isla Bonita!

as an adult the list hasn’t changed much but I would add Live to Tell, Oh Father & Promise to try. In fact I still love virtually all the songs from her first few albums. So many happy memories . Think I will be introducing my DD to Madonna tomorrow!

YABU. Probably my favourite is Live to Tell but I also love Frozen, You'll See and (weirdly) La Isla Bonita. I basically like ones in minor keys that sound a bit vulnerable.

She's an amazing performer and love that she hasn't stuck to the same sound.

Always remember getting the immaculate collection on cd and the video for Xmas and seeing the Blond Ambition Tour on tv made me a fanatic!

So 30 years now, god it's been a journey and I dread the day she gives it up.

My first thought was Crazy For You, love the line “ strangers making the most of the dark” then thought of What It Feels Like For A Girl from the Music album and I like Get Together from Confessions on a Dancefloor.
