To wonder why I’ve been booked a telephone phone appointment

Only some of my bloods have come back but I’ve already been booked in for a telephone doctors appointment. Does this mean the bloods I’ve had have have come back bad? Or just a per caution for the one that’s not yet come back?

It's usually to discuss a result which has come back borderline or out of range. Usually any serious issue would be discussed face to face.

I had a callback after bloods the GP asked if I’d been unwell. I told her I’d had a bout of tonsillitis a week or so before and she said that my blood showed signs of an infection and at the level she was seeing she wax surprised I hadn’t been to the surgery (I’d been on holiday and just doped myself up and carried on even though I felt hellish). She wanted me to repeat the bloods in a few weeks to make sure I was clear of anything. Have you been unwell?

I’ve just had issues with bruising.
