I'd gone to an art exhibition in the city my friend was living - her family were all there - and my friend's brother gave me the cold shoulder so I came away from the meeting feeling like you feel when you've been given the cold shoulder.
Otherwise I was a happy camper!

I was 7.5 months pregnant with dd 2, counting down the days to maternity leave because I hated my job at that time. Not sure what I was actually doing that very day though. Now nearly 10 yr old dd is counting down the days to her birthday.

I was in NYC on a business trip

DC1 was 10 weeks old and it was about the time she started sleeping better at night so I was probably just becoming vaguely human again.

We were on our first 5 foreign holiday with the 4 DC to Majorca, it was a late honeymoon :)

Heavily pregnant with my first baby due in four days time and terrified of giving birth.

Oh gosh, had a newborn baby in my arms 😭 Now an enormous leggy 10 year old who told me earlier that she “lived for memes “ 😂

I had a two year old, a six year old and an eight year old.

10 years ago today I went to Rock & Rose in Kew/Richmond to celebrate my friend's 21st birthday. On the way home there weren't enough seats in the car so I hid in the boot 👀

I was at Universal Studios with DS1 who was 5 at the time. It was in a work trip but I tagged on a few extra days either side and headed back to NYC to work afterwards. One of my favourite trips.

Working in Las Vegas

I was in a hospital bed in a high dependency unit with a big tube coming out of my ribs in southern Germany after having an internal defibrillator fitted and them puncturing my lung and it collapsing when they placed it. Still have the same defib in and battery still good for another three years.

I was half way through recovering from a fairly brutal, but necessary operation.

Looking after ds who's due date was May 27th but he was born on May 1st by C section because I had pre-eclampsia

@snowybean I LOVED Rock and Rose, the food used to be - haven’t been for years - excellent but the service shite, until I realised it’s owned by the same woman whose other restaurant i worked in as a teenager and the politest word I can call her is a cunt. As I was folding napkins at a table upstairs she and a manager sat down next to me for a meeting, four feet away. She then proceeded to bitch about every single member of staff INCLUDING ME, in front of me like I wasn’t even there. She once walked up to 17 year old me to tell me in front of four other members of staff to nicely tell me that I should wear more make up because my spots were gross and would put people off and would I want to be handed food from someone with spots like that? I didn’t have acne or anything, just a few spots once a month, that I already had concealer on. The chefs and the waitstaff there were amazing, the food was great and the kitchen was clean and brilliant. I will still never go back to either of her restaurants because she’s a leathery old bitch.

At work probably. I was working in drug intervention and offender management at the time.
