AIBU to think Cummings' wife could have driven?

Just that really. If the crock of shit that was spouted yesterday about eyesight issues was to be taken seriously and to be taken as the truth as to why the Cummings family had a day out at Barnard Castle why oh why would a seemingly intelligent man, as in the organ grinder to Boris' monkey not ask his wife to drive home???? Who would get in a car with their precious family if they thought it was a risk? Nobody!!!!!
It's utter crap and infuriated me to think anyone with a brain would believe a single word. It was every bit as absurd as Prince Andrew's ridiculous interview!!!!

I am.just hoping someone exposes his lies about that whole period and he gets sacked. If he had an ounce of integrity he would have resigned days ago.

Thubten · 26/05/2020 18:54

He clearly has not an ounce of integrity, this guy is in favour of eugenics!

Yeah but then he might've had to entertain his 4 year old. The more we hear about this, the more it comes off like your classic bloke who can't possibly be expected to do any solo or grunt work childcare setup.

120% YANBU? Well that seems pretty conclusive! Grin

YANBU. For the avoidance of doubt she has written in the Spectator about driving so we know she can (unless she has lost her licence or was still ill in which case she should not have left isolation).

MorrisZapp · 26/05/2020 19:04

Can we have a Cummings topic please? This is getting ridiculous.

MorrisZapp · 26/05/2020 19:05

Yabu for starting a thread when there are a billion others with the exact same points being made.

Pleasenodont · 26/05/2020 19:06

YANBU. I assumed she mustn’t drive from what he was saying yesterday but have since found out she can so his drive to specsavers (sorry, Barnard castle) was totally pointless.

Lweji · 26/05/2020 19:08

How else would he know if his driving was affected by his eyesight problems? Grin

BlackberryCane · 26/05/2020 19:12

The posts complaining about the Cummings threads are getting pretty tedious themselves.

picklemewalnuts · 26/05/2020 19:14

YABU, none of them should have been in the car going anywhere!

bigbluebus · 26/05/2020 19:21

I can (and do) drive. I don't drive on motorways since having a panic attack on one 5 years ago. I wouldn't want to embark on a journey of that length on minor roads.
