1 hour and 20 minutes ( and counting !) on hold on the phone to speak to Barclays Bank. When should I give up !

Thats it really , managed to get logged out of online banking ,and need to speak to someone .
Do you think it will ever be answered ?
(Lighthearted ...but desparate )

It will get answered at some point. But I expect your phone bill could be super high. You’ve phoned at lunchtime so i would phone back at like 2 or 3 o’clock.

I don’t bank with them but my mortgage provider offers a callback service. Could you request one via the website?

I was on hold for four hours last week ... so you never know with them.... but my complaint eventually got resolved but it felt like forever

I was on hold to Scottish Power last week for 55mins.
I finally got through, started giving my details and got cut off.

They also have an online chat facility, perhaps try that?

I have tried looking for the chat facility...
But it want my pinsentry details...err that i am loggeg out of !
