Lockdown seems unmanageable now but schools not back?

Lockdown seems to be getting ignored now- loads of groups of kids out playing in local parks yesterday - gangs of kids roaming about.

But no school in the south east where I am until September so I am now really worried about the next few months- are the kids going to just be allowed to meet up and roam about but won’t be in school.

Aibu to worry? What’s the point now? Everything seems to be opening up so they need to go back to school. I’m worried about the lack of clarity now. I totally get and support the schools position but I am worried.

Rightly or wrongly, the lockdown is pretty much over - suburbs of London here and no much social distancing or staying at home happening.

@Rosehip10 this is my worry. What are we meant to do with the kids now? My DS just wants to go out as all his mates are out- he’s 13- are they just going to be left to roam about? Obviously I can stop him but he’s getting upset as his mates are out & about
