Is there something wrong with my DS?

Posting in AIBU for traffic.

My DS is 8 months and has always been a great sleeper. However about a week ago we transitioned him into his cot (he’s getting too big for his next to me), the first few nights he was fine, went down and slept all night. But for the past 3/4 days he was fought every single nap in the day, he literally screams every time we put him down. It’s like a pain/sad scream and I’m so unsure as to why he’s doing it? It’s not like a gradual whine that turns into crying, the second he opens his eyes he’s screaming. Sleep regression, teething, anxiety? Has anyone ever experienced this? Last night he was awake every single hour screaming, I’d put his dummy back in and he’d settle straight away. He’s the happiest baby you’d ever meet in the day. Is this just a phase? Exhausted.

I have 5 DC and all have gone through similar at around this age.... Seems to co-incide with a huge leap in developing abilities such as crawling, rolling, fine motor skills, teething. It is just a phase, but an exhausting one!!

From memory my DC lasted between a few nights to a few months with it! Brew
