Henry Cavill or Arnie Hammer?

Or, if you prefer, Alice Vistander?

Cavill = YABU
Hammer = YANBU

Have you seen Cavill reading the Witcher?

PatriciaHolm · 24/05/2020 19:25

Hammer. But then I was always a Kuryakin fan, thanks to David McCallum...

TyrionsNextWife · 24/05/2020 19:26

Both of them. At the same time Grin

Yugi · 24/05/2020 19:26

David McCallum definitely 😆

serenada · 24/05/2020 19:32

No, @YouTheCat

I can't quite tear my eyes off the screen watching this.

Yes, I remember David McCallum and Robert Vaughn?

My goodness, they are both Gods. Hammer is meltworthy. I think that I would just collapse next to him. (and in a crumple on the ground way)

@TyrionsNextWife

Yes, I do think that when they are that good you should be allowed to have both.

Impossible choice.

ladymalfoy · 24/05/2020 19:38

Robert Vaughn. And I’m only 46.
Cavill in The Witcher though.....,

serenada · 24/05/2020 19:46

Well, I can see I'll have to watch The Witcher.

OP posts:
IDefinitelyHaveFriends · 24/05/2020 19:47

David McCallum

I did start to watch The Witcher with teen DD, but lost interest when the advertised attraction of HC getting his kit off failed to materialise and I was forced to pay attention to the dialogue instead.

I don’t think I’m going to be able to interest the rest of the family in modern MfU sadly. The only way I’m going to get to see it in current circumstances is if I can plead bandwidth problems during a particularly tedious and lengthy board meeting, turn my camera off, take my laptop into the sitting room and watch it with the subtitles on while listening to the meeting with half a brain. That could work, right?

snowspider · 24/05/2020 19:49

David McCallum and a fountain pen with invisible ink cartridges please

serenada · 24/05/2020 19:50

@IDefinitelyHaveFriends

Grin

I'm supposed to be working, too. Got distracted somewhere...

What about henry cavill and Armie hammer together?

serenada · 24/05/2020 19:55

I don't know @Only

Can there be too much of a good thing? Grin

OP posts:
serenada · 24/05/2020 19:56

70/30 in favour of Mr Cavill.

Charm and suave are winning out over biceps and blue eyes.

I just wouldn't be able to choose (sigh).

OP posts:
OnlyLittleMissOrganised · 24/05/2020 19:58

Never! I love Cavill in Tudors!

Onekidnoclue · 24/05/2020 19:59

Ummm. Not quite @serenada !

I think you’ll find the delicious Mr C has biceps and blue eyes to dribble over too Wink

Onekidnoclue · 24/05/2020 20:00

Great shout @OnlyLittleMissOrganised. That scene on the boat... I need a quiet five minutes just remembering it Blush

serenada · 24/05/2020 20:03

I'm not sure Hammer is getting the appreciation he deserves, though. He 's just so ... handsome? Big? Sensitive?

OP posts:
Sometimeswinning · 24/05/2020 20:23

Thank goodness the original actors have come into this! David McCallum every time!

thebeatofthedrum · 24/05/2020 20:26

Both Smile

TorkTorkBam · 24/05/2020 20:28

David McCallum.

I haven't seen the new one yet. That's tomorrow night sorted then.

serenada · 24/05/2020 21:05

I have to get some work done so I've put Jonathan Creek on Grin

I'll be back after I've watched The Witcher.
