Age gap crush

PrincessHoneysuckle · 23/05/2020 17:50

TV character that is.
I usually fancy celebs/characters that are a similar age to me however the current exception is Kim Bodnia (Konstantin in Killing Eve) as he is 15 years older than me and looks like hed be very good in bed Blush

Does anyone else have an out of character crush?

Not an aibu obviously here for the traffic.

Yeah. Keir Starmer!

TooMinty · 23/05/2020 17:55

I quite fancied Hugh Laurie when he played the character of Gregory House. He's 20 years older than me. And I definitely didn't find him attractive before that role!

ProseccoBubbleFantasies · 23/05/2020 18:02

I'm 50 and often used to have crushes on much older men. It's all a bit less so now older men are pensioners

Sparklesocks · 23/05/2020 18:03

Ooh i think lots of people of all ages fancy Kim Bodnia.

PrincessHoneysuckle · 23/05/2020 18:20

@Sparklesocks I didnt realise it was a common thing!

Kim Bodnia - definitely a thing!!!
My type is either the bear type men (big huggy types) that you know would -ahem - be good), or broody obviously perfect looking Kit Haringtons (wish there were more than one).

I used to have an eye for younger men but now it’s definitely older (I’m 45 😢).

Michael Ball is a recent one - I’d call him out of character for me (cheesy af)

blueReliantRobin · 23/05/2020 18:57

Stop watching telly.

Sparklesocks · 23/05/2020 20:25

@blueReliantRobin no.

CoronaIsComing · 23/05/2020 20:26

Paul Rudd bit to be fair he never ages!

ALbigbump · 23/05/2020 20:29

Yanbu, I love younger men. Chris Hemsworth, swoon

Doggodogington · 23/05/2020 20:34

White Lines character Boxer......oh my ovaries!!! I’d give up my children for him 🥵

Doggodogington · 23/05/2020 21:00

I killed the thread....sorry Confused

Dita73 · 23/05/2020 21:11

@Krazynights34 I’m with you on that one! When I was a teenager I also had a thing for John Thaw

BumpBundle · 23/05/2020 21:14

Gordon Ramsay does it for me...

Zaphodsotherhead · 23/05/2020 21:32

I fancy Tony Robinson and he's ancient. But then, so am I, just not quite as ancient as he is...

dancemom · 23/05/2020 21:39

Yy to Hugh Lawrie in House

But I've always had a thing for Jimmy Nail since his Auf Wiedersehen Pet days, he's 25 years older than me 🤷🏻‍♀️

katie43210 · 23/05/2020 21:42

My love for Colin Firth will never die. I'm 30.

wannabebetter · 23/05/2020 22:12

Billy Joel - loved him for over 30 years since his fit married-to-a-supermodel age to his current 71 year self!! Met him last year (swoon!!) and even though I was a good head & shoulders taller & he looks his age..... I still would Blush

sevencontinents · 23/05/2020 22:33

Keir Starmer!

dicksplash · 23/05/2020 22:39

@coronaiscoming Paul Rudd is amazing, he has beenmy Celeb crush since Clueless days 😍

I used to have a thing for Tom Selec, this probably started in three men and a little lady (so I was a pre teen/young teen and never really left me. 41 now and still think I would say yes.... not that I've seen what he looks like now so he may well look OLD - in my mind though he still looks like he did in Friends.

peachsquish · 23/05/2020 22:41

Binge watching on Britbox has given me a thumping great crush on Inspector Morse as played by John Thaw (born in the same year as my dad!)

VeniceQueen2004 · 23/05/2020 22:41

Stanley Tucci. Oh God I would.

Isitgiroday · 23/05/2020 22:43

@Doggodogington I am so with you there - he's why I kept watching to be fair! Ooft.

Craftycorvid · 23/05/2020 22:46

I’ll definitely go with Kim Bodnia Grin

wishing4sun · 23/05/2020 22:47
