A beauty spot local to me has just been fenced off due to the disgusting behaviour of a few individuals who were shitting in the bushes, throwing rubbish on the ground and failing to observe social distancing. The owner made a public statement claiming that if we want places like this to survive we ALL have to take responsibility for the behaviour of others in our community. So, for example, if you see someone throwing rubbish on the ground, tell them to pick it up. If you see someone else's rubbish has been left behind, pick it up yourself. Etc…
AIBU to think this is the only possible way forward for humankind? Sticking our heads in the sand doesn't appear to be serving us very well.
