To be completely confused?

I’m trying to work out how my council tax will change but can’t find anything on the local council website. Please can someone help?

I currently live with DH and 3 children. DH is moving out. DM is moving in. She is 75, frail, elderly and I am her carer when I’m not at work.

If it was just me and the children then I think I would get the 25% council tax discount as the only adult there. Will I still get that discount if DM moves in? Thanks

Some info here seems to suggest you could if she doesn’t have more than £16,000 savings or a huge pension.
