Or should I just leave with my virtual head held high?

I have no idea what rule I could have broken. I'm more of a reader and liker of posts. But I did reply to a post with a negative review about a company someone wanted opinions on.

It was a nice group. I'm actually sad. It's still there but its not letting me request to join.

OP posts:

Just plaice marking!

StoppinBy · 23/05/2020 14:05

If I did ask them I would take a gentle, tentacle approach.

I once got booted because a post was getting nasty and I said to one poster that if they had nothing helpful to add they should just scroll on rather than comment.....turns out the poster was admin haha

Wauden · 23/05/2020 14:07

Captain Pike will sort them out

RobinHumphries · 23/05/2020 14:07

Maybe you should have just skated over the bad review

bevelino · 23/05/2020 14:08

OP are you feeling battered.

dodobookends · 23/05/2020 14:10

Plaicemarking.

JackiFazaki · 23/05/2020 14:12

@Pippapotomus

Onceuponatimethen · 23/05/2020 14:14

Not nice that this happened op! I think you should ask - you don’t have anything to lose Flowers

AdaColeman · 23/05/2020 14:14

You need to do some sole searching OP, to discover how you broke the house rules.

InThisMultiverse · 23/05/2020 14:15

You’re smack dab in deep waters with those sprats. Maybe there’s another side to this dory but you might feel a bit koi about telling us.

TSSDNCOP · 23/05/2020 14:20

when I saw the title I just knew this would be full of fish puns, and I was not disappointed
Well, if you like these we’re here all week, Barramundi.

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 23/05/2020 14:31

But to answer your original question OP, I think you should Mullet over.

CocoCorona · 23/05/2020 14:33

OP, that’s really carp of them. I’d try to get to the bottom of this, incase they’re spreading some fishcious rumours about you 🐟🐠🐡

VeganVeal · 23/05/2020 14:33

I love this thread, its Brill

Thinkingabout1t · 23/05/2020 14:36

All these puns are giving me a haddock, I can fillet coming on. Eel go now [waves].

heronsinflight · 23/05/2020 14:39

You have to bear in mind that a lot of small businesses are on their bream ends at the moment.

QuestionableMouse · 23/05/2020 14:40

@vodkaredbullgirl

If you're correcting it's could have 😂

I'd ask op. I got banned on a forum for being abusive and when I asked why it was a mistake - should have been someone with a very similar name.

Coffeecak3 · 23/05/2020 14:52

OP you know where to Findus for more advice.

YouokHun · 23/05/2020 14:54

I think the fish puns are beginning to Flounder now

Vanhi · 23/05/2020 14:55

did reply to a post with a negative review about a company someone wanted opinions on.

Joking aside, negative reviews of businesses are frowned upon on some social media. Horse & Hound forum won't allow it. I think there's room for litigation by the company against the forum if what's been said is inaccurate. How things like Trip Advisor get around this I do not know.
