Or should I just leave with my virtual head held high?

I have no idea what rule I could have broken. I'm more of a reader and liker of posts. But I did reply to a post with a negative review about a company someone wanted opinions on.

It was a nice group. I'm actually sad. It's still there but its not letting me request to join.

OP posts:

With FB admin friends like that, who needs anemones?

SansaClegane · 23/05/2020 13:02

Grin when I saw the title I just knew this would be full of fish puns, and I was not disappointed!

vodkaredbullgirl · 23/05/2020 13:03

Just be like Nemo and clown about.

Yes, and when you ask them for an explanation, they always clam up.

Carrie7469 · 23/05/2020 13:04

You must be gutted

LivingThatLockdownLife · 23/05/2020 13:04

Yeah I feel like people are now just trawling for puns.
OP! Don't worry chum. Some people just shark FB groups as admins. By complaining you might be giving them something to get their teeth into. I'd avoid diving too deep into the comments or the reasoning.

Pelleas · 23/05/2020 13:06

I think the OP is staying chipper!

Carrie7469 · 23/05/2020 13:08

They sound shellfish. Tell them you're not gill-ty.

Let minnow if you get to the bottom of it.

onalongsabbatical · 23/05/2020 13:13

Let minnow when you fin-ish with the puns...

onalongsabbatical · 23/05/2020 13:15

Damn! Cross posted minnow by a sliver of time...

Pelleas · 23/05/2020 13:18

Not soon I hope, since we're having a whale of time here!

PigletJohn · 23/05/2020 13:19

some groups are managed by people who have fixed and intolerant views.

In some cases you may approve. For example I am in a group that (not always very quickly) bans members who repeatedly post racist and antisemitic content.

In other cases you may disapprove. Maybe in your case the founder is a devoted supporter of the company you criticised.

If you think the group founder is an arse, you're better off out of it.

whyismyneck · 23/05/2020 13:21

Some of the groups I'm in don't allow negative reviews of local business.

aceyace · 23/05/2020 13:25

If you think the group founder is an arse, you're better off out of it.

Surely you mean " flounder" arse
"batter" off out

Witchend · 23/05/2020 13:25

If the issue is still Ongoing and they're trying to resolve it, then they may have felt a negative review was unfair.

It's given me a porpoise in life.

HannaYeah · 23/05/2020 13:39

Wow, you were able to tackle that problem quickly!

greengauges · 23/05/2020 13:42

Your name is Annette isn't it?

greengauges · 23/05/2020 13:43

Or Rod.

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 23/05/2020 13:44

Perhaps it's an old buoy's network, many fb groups tend to work like that.

FLOrenze · 23/05/2020 13:51

Send a letter of complaint. Don’t put a stamp on it, just mark it C.O.D.

ProseccoBubbleFantasies · 23/05/2020 13:53

Got a f-eel-ing OP less upset now!

NOTANUM · 23/05/2020 13:53

I'd move over to FINstigram if I were you, OP.

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 23/05/2020 13:55

Twetter? Snapperchat? WhelksApp?
