When you and DH disagree about having another child.

I want another, we have a beautiful little girl but he doesnt. I would never leave him for it. I would, I think hopefully accept it.

Interested to hear others experiences.

How old is your little girl? Maybe it’s just a matter of timing?

Did you discuss having more than one child / family size before you had dd?

Just trying to work out if he agreed to 2 and has changed his mind or if it wasn't part of the plan necessarily to start with.

Also if you don't mind me asking how old are you? Could you afford to leave the subject and re-visit it again in a year or 2 or is it a bit more of a deciding soon thing?

You are married but another child ties him more to you. He may not feel that the marriage is for life

Was your 22 month old a very difficult child?

Nope not at all she is so easy. Has the odd tantrum now and again but nothing out of the ordinary.

I think the number you say you want before kids is irrelevant - you have no idea how you’ll feel until you have them.

When older DS was 22 months there was nothing in the world that could induce me to consider another one. When he hit 4 I was ready and we had DS2.

You need to decide together. One may be disappointed but unfortunately that’s how it is.

Hmmm I'm not sure then, maybe just give it time.

I always thought I wanted 4 children, but since I've had DS, I only want 2

I think give it some time, I’ve always wanted 3 but after DD I want to wait longer than I originally would have. Your still young so another year or two wouldn’t matter too much.
