I'll start. The sleep. I haven't slept so well in years.

The time. I always have more time when I don’t drink.

It’s cheap!

Being nominated driver adds huge amount of scope to where we can go for dinner.
Plus
No hangovers.

Weight loss, so much easier without the booze

Stronger nails thicker hair and a sex drive... i should say I am currently drinking but those were the three things that surprised me when i had a long break from it.

I might not be the target audience for this thread as I've not been a big drinker for years now, but on the odd occasion when I do drink, I always wake up the next day with really dry skin. I know alcohol is meant to dehydrate you but I mean even after 1 glass of wine followed by tonnes of water, I'll still wake up with shit skin the next day. So better skin!

Fewer coldsores

Fewer spots

Always being able to get in the car

Having energy and enthusiasm in the morning

No mystery parcels arriving after alcohol induced online shopping.

I drink about two glasses of wine a year. Funnily enough, I had a glass of white wine last night, and still have stomach ache now. My face is also blotchy.
Keep away!!!

Also, not waking up with that hangover paranoia/fear feeling I get even when I know I've done nothing I need to worry about. And not feeling exhausted the next day, because drinking always drained my energy.

You get pissed much more easily when you start drinking again.
