To ask a question about contraception/bleeding

Hi, hoping for some advice/handhold...

A year ago I was bleeding after sex, I went to the doctors and they did a vagina examination and found some small, non-harmful, cysts on my ovaries. Apparently very common.

Fast forward to October and I found out I was pregnant and had an abortion as it was totally unexpected.

Now, I have been on the Desogestrel contraceptive pill since I had the abortion in October. I have bled on and off throughout. I told my doctor (we were having a chat about a different issue) and now I have another vaginal examination tomorrow to "check things out".

I've read that bleeding on Desigestrel can be normal for many woman. Some do. Some don't.

A) has anyone been in this pill and bled without any actual issues?

B) why the vagina examination? Is there something I should be worried about?

It's tomorrow the appointment, I'm only 23 and am very nervous... I feel like it's not needed!! Thank you in advance x
