I don't do computer games so don't need too much RAM.
I WFH though, and do have a lot of data stored on my PC. I use all the usual software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), and do a lot online - internet, skype, zoom, dropbox, shared project management platform.
My current portable pc is now seven years old and is getting sluggish (despite semi-regular "cleanups") and the mouse pad no longer works properly.
My computer guy has said don't buy Apple - I'm on board for that. Beyond that he is indifferent as to brand, but says for about 1000 euros I'll get the functionality I need.
Who has any recommendations? Am totally flummoxed with the range that's out there. What specifications as to screen size, memory, processor...
Budget around 1000 euros.
