I'd have told them in no uncertain terms to find somewhere else to go. I did that to a workman who mistook my car bonnet for a park bench.

if you ask them nicely you might be pleasantly suprised - I occasionaly have groups of teenagers perched on the wall outside our house........wouldn't usually bother me - but our front window is about 3ft (literally lol) from the wall so DS's can see (and hear) everything they say)......usually a polite request to "move on" works wonders - although I do sometimes get the odd bit of arsiness - more of the "omg I've got to try and look cool after i've been told to b*gger off" than the malicious type,
