To be pissed off I never receive a thank you AIBU

I always buy gifts for my cousins kids, 2,3 & 4. Birthdays, Xmas etc. Sometimes she buys for my DD But money is tight for her So I don’t care. But I hardly ever get a thank you, I adore her kids & I think I’d feel awful not getting them anything. Would you stop?

Just send a card and say, ‘I’ll give you your gift next time I see you’. That way they can open them in front of you and thank you.

Yep same with me, not even a text to say thanks or an acknowledgment . I’ve stopped doing it. Didn’t get them anything last Christmas saved me about £200. It’s annoying when you put so much thought and effort into gifts to get no acknowledgement from it.
