As above really, expecting DC1 in a couple of months and wanting to make sure we have everything sorted.

Obviously hoping to never need it, and would like to live merrily into our old age but needs must and all that.

I’ve never even thought about this, so tread gently

I've just used Scottish Widows, I'm hard to ensure and had previously been turned down by another insurer

Scottish Widows are insuring me for £200k for 35 years, fixed sum for £20 pcm.

Thanks @Kelsoooo,
I’ve just had a peep, and unfortunately Scottish widows only seem to deal with financial advisors.
We don’t have one of those because we don’t really have any money, so it’s never been necessary.
Thanks though.

Hoping we should be ok to insure. Non smokers, no illness, I’m late 20s DP early 30s

I went via a broker which charge them not me.

Lifesearch/Cura are two brokers that charge the insurance company and not yourself.

I’ll take a look
