This drives me absolutely crackers. Surely the word "fast" gives people a clue that I'd like to finish the game before Christmas??

Giraffeski - they don't have rooms to play Scrabulous in on Facebook. You just start games with people from your friends list.

There's a MN Facebook group though, if you haven't found that yet.

You don't even need to have friends playing scrabulous with you - if you click on "join open game" you can play with whoever has posted a request.

I too was a Facebook sceptic. Couldn't see the point and just thought I must be too old to "get it". I was wrong!

Am happy to report that Scrabulous now has new servers and, touch wood, appears to be running fine today. So for all of you slow coaches who agreed to fast games, pull your bloody fingers out and get on with it! (Only recently noticed that if someone hasn't made a move for a week you can force them to forfeit the game, adding an automatic win to your tally - hehehe)

I'm a slow player, but to be fair I don't recall telling anyone I would be a fast player. I have to try and play at a time when I am a) not being hassled by a small child b) not too tired and can't think.

Lately neither is happening. I am losing appallingly in all games now whereas before it was just losing mildly in most (apart from ones against Hunker which are appalling 100% of the time ). I can't even beat my sister any more because I am too bloody tired
