God it’s so fucking boring! What are people actually doing with their time?

I got up at 7am. Lounged on the couch until 9am. Took the dog for a walk, got back at 10am.

Since then I’ve hoovered up, polished and put a wash on. And it’s still not even 12pm 😩

Got up at 6am to check on DS (first night in his own room!). He was awake but happy to I went back to bed for a bit while DH got up with him. Woke up again at 8am feeling a little less hungover (virtual quiz night with some friends last night which involved a bit too much wine). Fed DS breakfast and got dressed before doing an online Pilates class which cleared the rest of my hangover. Skyped with the in laws for a bit and DS is having a nap now before lunch. Will speak to my parents this afternoon. God knows what else we'll do. I was already bored on mat leave; now I'm even more bored. I suppose I should tidy up our bedroom now that we've moved DS out but I don't want to peak too soon and have nothing to do tomorrow. DH is playing on his xbox so I can't even watch some shit TV.

Pottered in garden, tending to seeds, cleaning and refilling bird feeders
Dog walk
Chatted to neighbour over fence
Now having lunch

Later will plants tulips taken out pots into ground
Walk with friend - beyond excited about this, haven’t seen her since lockdown
Zoom chat with other good friends
Dinner
Tv

Did some exercise
Browsed on my phone
Just finished a book so am trying to choose another one
Played with dd
Other dc are up so we’re going for a walk in the woods.
Do some cleaning
Dh is cooking today so I’m going to relax and read.
I’ve decided to watch the last season of Game of thrones so I’m going to start that tonight.

Up at 6.30am with DS(4) who never usually gets up so early. We played some Orchard Toys games which are ace and had a film on in background. He went to his dads at 11 who only lives a few minutes drive away.

Since then have done 2 loads of washing, changed bed, hoovered and mopped throughout, cleaned the kitchen including cupboards and fridge and just got out of shower. Bacon sandwiches soon!

Will watch a film later and we save gogglebox for sunday afternoons

We binge watched Le Mante and The Forest on Netflix which were excellent, especially if you enjoy subtitles so will be looking for a new series along those lines.

Let my 3 year old cut my hair. We might wash the car next. We are so bored

Had a bad night with DD so lay in bed till 8 (a massive lie in for me!), we took the DC for a rainy woodland walk, now I'm getting some me time while DH 'looks after' the kids (the minute I went upstairs I heard the opening notes of Frozen 2, so yeah, he's a real hero ). Need to get myself fed but drinking coffee and faffing about on here. This afternoon, we have a Zoom chat with DD's friends, family Zoom chat and getting the roast ready. May have a little glass of red later...

Gave the kids a morning bath so they'd stay in one place whilst I cleaned the bathroom/landing and DH cleaned the living room.

Hoovered all the upstairs, cleaned DC's bedroom and cleaned their carpet. Put several wash loads on, one on the outside rack, one on the inside rack.

Planned the next DIY project (stair runners rather than the god awful grey carpet that's there now)

Annnddd played with DC. That's it really, DH is making dinner now. Boys are just pottering around being unusually well behaved. I'm in our bedroom trying to relax a bit before work tomorrow

Woke up at 10.30 and popped over to the shop to get freshly baked croissants for our breakfast and some prosciutto ham for the street cats.

I will spen the afternoon on the sun lounger, enjoying the spring weather (28 degrees and brilliant sun)

Might try and persuade my daughter to join me down to the beach later on.

Tomorrow is all about work (from home) so weekends are usually lazy.

Got up around 6, bf baby, had own breakfast, gave baby breakfast, put baby down for nap, did weights and painted cotbed between sets. Three lots of dishwasher load/unload, 2 lots of laundry/hanging out. Played with children, set up new Garmin, had lunch - now bf baby for millionth time

@cardibach is that the cafe in Grangetown? Didn't know they were doing online stuff.

I woke at 6, 2 coffees in bed. Got up, walked dog then did Bodypump.
Showered, fed and watered myself and DD then dragged her out for a long walk, from which we have just returned.
This avo we're bringing the sun loungers in from the garden and watching Summer Holiday! Then a pamper afternoon for her: face mask, nailset. We have scones and clotted cream as a treat for later.

Had pancakes, streaky bacon and maple syrup for breakfast after a lie in. DH is brilliant at pancakes so he's got himself a weekly task now .

Stealthily tidied DD's room and chucked out a black bag full of crap.

Moved on to the landing, tidied out the bureau, hoovered up and have just put a chicken in to roast.

I'm on decluttering mission and I'm being ruthless, there's a fair bit of stuff ready to go to a charity shop.

Fairly productive so far today.

Woke up at 4am and couldn’t get back to sleep so got up. Watched a movie lying on the sofa. Had breakfast and read Saturdays papers. Had loud and crazy dancing session with DD6 for half an hour. Went to the supermarket. Now on the treadmill in the garage. Lunch and shower next. Zoom call with friends later on. Am loving lockdown!

Mourned a treasured friend who just died (he was in his 80s, but still so sad).
Laundry, dishwasher, tidying, blah blah blah. Not much else seems to matter to be honest.

Look after yourselves, please.

Marinated the lamb and prepped veg for tonight's BBQ
Baked a slice for snacks this week

Now washing the car then some weeding and planting out some seedling, followed by some lounging about then bbq

@devildeepbluesea yes the Grangetown one. They are doing a community food programme while they are shut but they have an Instagram and a blog. They put the recipes for their steamed drinks on there the other day...lots of recipes on there. Not sure what the connection is with the Yogi, but it Was a good class.

Got up with the children, breakfast for them, cleaned and tidied middle and top floor of house, washing away, bit of schooling for eldest 2 children, lunch for children now off to bed as on nights from tonight, literally been groundhog day for months. Hoping the children will go outside with their father this pm but not optimistic

I worked last night. DP collected me and once home I made sausage sandwiches and went to bed. The cat had taken the spot where I sleep so had to make do with what I could get until she jumped down in search of someone else to mither.

DP washed the car and drove to the pet shop for cat litter and treats.
No roast today but chicken cacciatore and garlic bread from the freezer. I have a M&S chocolate pudding if anything else should be required.

Bath night tonight, will phone my Mum and listen to today’s service from the Methodist Central Hall. Feeling rather like Saturday still as we are both not in work until Tuesday.

I have done nothing except wacth Masterchef reruns and MN

Dh has made a Sunday dinner, been shopping, cut a few tress down on the forest green with a chainsaw, laid artifical grass, done something with the hot tub... put the new ceiling light up and hes out a few washings on.... I should be ashamed but not

I have cooked a beef roast dinner with caulli cheese and all the trimmings 🙂 I've have been out int he kitchen with my music on pottering around and my DP has been on toddler watch. I am still working so my weekends are the same but I know my partner is so bored!

Got up at 8 after being awake until around 4am with grizzly dd gave said dd bottle and porridge, had a coffee.

Gave 23 month old D's , ds7 and ds11 breakfast.

Washed dishes, hung out a wash load and put the next load on.

Gave dd14, ds4 and dd3 breakfast.

Put chicken in the oven, peeled spuds and prepped the rest.

Asked DP to go to the shops for stuff I had forgotten at the supermarket yesterday!! 2 trolleys full and still things missing!!

Just having a coffee and will finish off the roast then it's bath time for all the kids and hopefully a bath and an early night for me

Had a lay in, made pancakes with the kids, watched a film and I have baked a cake. Chilling in my pjs with DH and DS x

Got up at 6 when baby woke, breastfed baby.
Toddler woke and came in at 6.30.
Read in bed with toddler.
8ish, got us up, dressed and breakfasted. Breastfed baby.
Toddler played, I put two washes on and hung them out.
Put toddlers down for nap.
Fed baby.
Lunch for me, toddler and DH
Chilled with baby (and fed) while DH took toddler for a walk.
Tidied around a bit.
Made a cake with toddler.
Made tea.
Cluster fed baby.
Bedtime stories for toddler.
Back to cluster feeding baby.
Baby now asleep.
