Girls causing Drama

Do you think girls cause a lot of drama between each other. I get so stressed about it I hate 9 year old DD feeling sad when girls leave her out. I know she is no angel but would hope the mums would come to me to discuss if they had a problem. I'm talking about her school friends. How do you deal with it? Would you approach the mums?

No I think both girls and boys do it tbh. Absolutely do not consider talking to the mums about it, it takes two to tango etc.

Boys create a lot more drama, in my opinion, especially in their teens. You need to help your DD to expand her social circle and have more friends so being excluded doesn’t pinch as much. You can’t expect to be included in everything and it might be that the other girls are just naturally closer - that’s not their fault.

In my experience as a parent and a TA girls definitely seem to create more drama at school, some of them can’t seem to live without it! The boys are no angels for sure, they might have a falling out and maybe a scuffle, a kick or a punch. But then it’s over, and they don’t tend to get all their mates involved either. They don’t turn it into a campaign in the way that a lot of girls tend to.
Tell your dd to ignore, ignore and ignore. Don’t feed into the drama.
