AIBU to find this interesting?

YABU: She doesn't know what she's talking about

YANBU: It is deeply concerning

I'm not sure whether someone has chosen not to sue is a meaningful endorsement given any such decision would involve having the financial resources and choosing to spend the time and money and also a judgement around whether the author would gain more from the additional publicity.

Firecarrier · 19/05/2020 17:18

Many of the same names and organisations appear linked, no worries about conflicts of interests or where the money goes/comes from.

The majority of the world's population is losing out due to the lockdown situation, whether that be financially, socially, educationally or their mental or physical health.

There is and will be however a small proportion and groups of people who will benefit from the situation.

People who are interested in scratching beneath the surface will soon see some familiar names consistently appearing - it won't be immediately obvious though as there are several arms to most organisations and it is very much a 'you scratch my back and I will scratch yours' scenario. you will find the same people sitting on boards etc

Pretty sure Anthony Fauci can afford it. He seems to have his fingers in lots of pies.

Publicitiy? The video has gone viral and has millions of views.

People who scratch beneath the surface further than the next cranks youtube channel know shes a fraud who spouts rubbish but you just click next video and plod along

Zilla1 · 19/05/2020 17:37

You're 'pretty sure Anthony Fauci could afford' a defamation suit so you've taken the absence of any defamation suits as an endorsement of what Dr Judy says. That's insightful.

"Big Pharma paying off doctors more if they diagnose a case as COVID and triple that amount if they put a patient on a ventilator"

Firecarrier A little tip. When someone claims to know things that would be kept secret (since they'd go to prison) ask yourself "how does he/she know this?" She's not a doctor so they wouldn't be offering to her.

You see the same kind of thing with "Putin has a secret plan to do so and so" like some kid in a basement in the US would know if he did.

The same people move from job to job, board to board, sometimes holding multiple positions, reports are written and commissioned by different arms of the same organisation or those who are intertwined to say what they want them to say to follow their agenda.

aptly summed up by the following...

My grandpa sells condoms to sailors
He pierces the end with a pin
My grandma does quickie abortions
My God, how the money rolls in!

There are eye-watering amounts of money to be made.

OP posts:
Firecarrier · 19/05/2020 18:00

It is not illegal in America for hospitals to receive money via Medicare ( I have read the rebuff of this claim also before you start posting the top -hits on Google.)

There are numerous Doctors bravely coming out to explain how they are being encouraged/pressured to list far too many deaths as due to Covid.

It is ok though, you can continue to mock, I'm not primarily putting this here for people like yourself, I have no desire to argue with the same old voices on Mumsnet who shut people down of a differing opinion. They are always convinced that everyone is behind them too it is just that lots of people can't be bothered to argue with their bullyish condescending attitude - it remids me of how convinced the Mumsnet massive were that Labour would win a landslide and that we wouldn't vote for Brexit. A bit like out of touch politicians Smile

They are always convinced they are so intellectually superior and shout down/swear at/sneer at their opinion.

I would rather listen to Dr Mikovits who worked as a scientist for 40 years and has the integrity to not put money before the health of people worldwide.

Oh dear, you left out the lizard people, the fact that the earth is hollow and hosts an ancient civilisation, the Atacama alien and Ancient Astronauts.

Firecarrier · 19/05/2020 18:31

someone said earlier that Dr Mikovits' video was removed because it was 'a pack of lies'.

If you honestly believe that, then I'm not sure what to say, ask yourself whether YouTube rapidly remove other videos which contain harmful/sexual/abusive content quickly.

If you don't spend much time on there - ask a regular teenager - there is truly horrific stuff on there which is allowed to stay on for far longer than necessary.

OP posts:
HarveySchlumpfenburger · 19/05/2020 18:34

Not the integrity to not steal stuff from her employers and end up in jail though.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 19/05/2020 18:37

Or the integrity to own up to a mistake and produce subsequent questionable papers after deciding conclusively that her previous findings were contamination.

I suspect the fact that you’ve mentioned her and integrity in the same sentence mean that you don’t know an awful lot about her 40 year science career.

Firecarrier · 19/05/2020 18:53

My focus was not Autism, BUT, since people keep bringing it up...

In a video from 2018 where the 'God Father of vaccines' himself (who sits on multiple boards) Dr Stanley Plotkin, was interviewed due to a court case and in it he specifically admits that;

  1. No scientific study has been done to rule out a link between Autism and vaccines.
  1. He doesn't feel this is necessary as he doesn't believe there is a link
  1. He is happy to tell parents there is no link despite point 1.
  1. It is his opinion that Hep B doesn't cause Encephalitis despite the institute of Medicine saying they couldn't say one way or another apparently this is because there isn't enough data!
  1. He admitted it would be possible to do studies to find if there was a link (he sounded annoyed at having to admit this)
  1. A study has not been done and he doesn't think it necessary!

Zilla1 · 19/05/2020 19:00

Am still wondering how 'they' make more money from the poor workers being locked down than when the machine/system operates normally to enrich 'them'. I need to be careful given how the system does normally work to enrich 'them'.

Could someone direct me and colleagues to where the payments are for incorrectly diagnosing COVID?

I think in the UK, the issue is more around the deaths attributable to COVID not in the official figures but hinted at in the all-cause mortality totals.

Firecarrier · 19/05/2020 19:16

Only one in 200 parents who apply to the Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme get anything.

Claims for Autism are not considered.

Maybe some people (just like Plotkin mentioned above) don't want to see if there is a connection 'cus it might cost them some pennies. Oh dear.

People slag off politicians of all shades and say they're in it for themselves etc but blindly believe what they are told from other authoritarian sources. Not everyone at the top of the tree is benevolent.

I suggest DuckDuckGo for more fruitful searches.

@Firecarrier

Do “truth warriors” who “question everything” ever stop to question the lies and mistruths they lap up from dodgy YouTube videos? Or are they assumed to be true because they tell you what you want to hear?

Firecarrier · 19/05/2020 19:21

Glad you liked my little joke 7 days.

OP posts:
KKSlider · 19/05/2020 19:23

But the "Plandemic" video is a pack of lies.

She claims CV19 was human-made, which it is not, she also claims Ebola couldn't infect human cells until they modified it in a lab in 1999 (the first Ebola outbreak in Africa was in 1976...).

That this is all an excuse to bring about mandatory vaccination and vaccines weaken your immune system so the end result is that "big pharma" profiteers will kill millions.

Public health authorities are corrupt and not to be trusted.

Wearing masks activates your own virus, her exact words are "wearing the mask literally activates your own virus. You're getting sick from your own reactivated coronavirus expressions" - this doesn't even make actual sense never mind scientific sense.

That beaches have healing powers due to "microbes and sequences in the sand". Basically, snort sand and you'll be cured.

The flu vaccine contains coronavirus and the flu vaccine in Italy Italy coronavirus worse because it was developed using a cell line taken from dogs and dogs get lots of coronaviruses (the dog cell line is true, the rest is crap).

She claims there is no vaccine for RNA viruses. Except there is - polio, measles, and yellow fever vaccines are all RNA virus vaccines.

That hydroxychloroquine is an effective treatment, preventive, and cure when actually the opposite has been proven and it is linked with several deaths as well as heart rhythm problems.

Do I need to go on?

It is all bullshit with not a single shred of credible evidence to back it up.

She is a thief and a liar.

Sparklesocks · 19/05/2020 19:25

You are welcome to believe whatever you want to. You are not unreasonable for that, it’s your right as a human being to form your own opinions and believe in whatever you choose to, as batshit as it might be.
But you are unreasonable to think you can share it on places like MN, with zero credible sources apart from discredited and disgraced Individuals, rambling about everyone except you being mindless sheep, and expect a to convert people to your way of thinking. Not everyone believes everything they see on YouTube to be the truth.

TerrorWig · 19/05/2020 19:29

I’m glad you posted this.

My cousin forwarded this video to me and other family members the other day, I got about 4 minutes in and googled her book but that was it. I was sceptical from the off. Glad to see my bullshit detector still works.

pointythings · 19/05/2020 19:30

firecarrier you do not understand how research works. There have been many studies into the MMR/autism link. None have found one. Not. One. You cannot prove a negative - not in law and not in science. Read up on Karl Popper.

7Days · 19/05/2020 19:35

I like all your jokes, OP.

Seriously though, here on MN there is a really great thread called something like Graphs and Charts. The posters there are very knowledgeable. It's really interesting to see them pick one tiny star and really drill down into it, where the numbers come from, why any discrepancy, what are the implications of that one tiny number. They generally keep the politics out of it, on the whole.

It would really give you a more balanced view and loads to think about.

7Days · 19/05/2020 19:36

One tiny stat, that should say
