radiator covers.

Those familiar with it or preferably have it in their home, can you please tell me how do you change the the thermostat on the radiator when the covers on. Would it mean I would have to take the whole thing off? Thanks

We only have one and fitted it so the TRV was outside the cover. I think you are meant to do this.

Also our cover, the front drops down for when we do the yearly beeding of the radiators

We inherited covers when we moved house. The valves etc are on the outside. I do not know if we just had bad ones but when we took them off the house was so much warmer, ridiculously so. The cover was absorbing so much heat. These were pretty old so maybe the technology has changed but based on my limited experience I would say avoid

They are known for cutting down the heat but as ours is in DS's room who only ever had a summer duvet in in winter it didn't matter too much

I only put ours on ad I had a decorator paint the radiator to match the room and when we redid it was easier to cover
