To ask how much you got paid during statuatory months (mat leave)

Just that really. Unsure whether to take full three months statutory as my rough calculations show I’ll generally have about as much as I would going back PT and paying out hundreds in nursery fees (assuming all is well by autumn with nursery etc).

So could I ask in terms of actually paid into your account how much you got? I know it will vary depending on tax and can see it’s £151.20/week from April this year but wondering how much after tax and NI you actually get in your bank? A friend said around £590 as she got a tax refund every month.

Thanks!

I've just received my first month of SMP and wasn't taxed or NI as it's so little but still paid my pension contribution and ended up with £584.
