FFS even women's running trousers are all about being sexy

I've just Google's women's running trousers and the first page is all skin tight fucking barely more than tights. So we have to look attractive while running as well?

I'm feeling very hormonal so fully accept I'm being ggrrrrr. But honestly.

Can anyone recommend me something I can run in that doesn't show my shape please ?

Running trousers are any trousers you go running in. Tracksters are definitely not sexy but they are fine.
Running tights are leggings.

Wear boys' shorts if you want them longer.

You have got a point actually. I compared the men's and women's activewear on a couple of sites last week, and noticed that men's running gear is longer, more football style shorts, and the tops have a higher rounded neck, with women's tensing to be V neck at the chest or low cut. Women's shorts are much shorter.

I have some men’s running short from Primark, for the summer. I wanted pockets with zips and the women’s wear all seems to be for the gym (skin tight and no pockets)

Men often wear baggy shorts over their proper running tights because I guess they don’t want the skin tight look either

My flip belt keeps working itself loose @CMOTDibbler. I've had to tie a knot in it to keep it tight enough to stop it swivelling. Eventually bought running shorts with a pocket on each leg that's big enough to hold my phone and a dog pooh bag.

Get some running tights and then wear shorts over the top - that’s what a lot of people do. There’s some really nice lightweight and longer length loose tops too.

It sounds like your flipbelt is too big Zaphod. Gins one has a sticky strip on it which holds it still in addition to coming in sizes

You’re not wrong. The women’s running shorts (not tight ones, but general shorts) are at least an inch shorter than the men’s. And why do the women run in bikinis whilst men get long length tights? If it’s so fabulous to run in pants, why the bloody hell aren’t the men doing it?

You're right, Dibbler, it is too big, but I bought it when I started running and was four stone heavier! I should have bought a more adjustable one right at the beginning.

Im smiling my new running leggins arrived today....im deciding if the mesh panel on the leg is for it to make them look sexy or help my leg breathe......either way I dont liki it and I couldn't see it in the pic....however I cant be bothered to send them back.

I like a padded sports bra to stop my nipples getting cold.

Dd14 wears mens running shorts to run in (she's a very strong runner). She much prefers them longer. We both wear running leggings as well, I have never considered sexiness to come into it.

I know some men who run in short shorts. I know some men who run in longer shorts. I know some men who run in running tights (hopefully with shorts over)

as with women it seems that it’s a case of pick what suits you best.

I knew a guy who ran in short shorts and as such I can tell you the reason why men shorts always need to be longer... yuck.

I hate it when male cyclists come into the shop. That padded crotch is just level with the counter, and it sort of...frames the groin, as if they are propping their entire package up on my till.

Ugh running leggings.

They might be more efficient but they look silly.

I don't understand how people can be so picky about all the clothes they wear in day to day life and then willingly wear running leggings in public and be happy having strangers see their arses, lumps and bumps in such detail.

But then I don't understand how people can act naturally in swimming costumes either. Swimming costumes and running leggings are such a small step away from nakedness.

I get really hot when I run and I like being able to get down to a crop top. Aren’t women generally hotter than men? I also prefer a lower necked top as I find a high neck rubs and irritates - I think boobs maybe push necklines up a bit as you run.

I don’t think any of the crop tops or running vest I have are sexy though, or seem to have been designed to be sexy.

Enjoy running - in some tracksuit bottoms (or whichever is comfortable for you, but running is least resistant in skintight gym wear)
