Made on Sunday. Kept in fridge to eat today?
YABU - NO. BIN IT
YANBU- EAT IT.

(Totally using AIBU for argument solving!)

YANBU

PurpleDaisies · 13/05/2020 11:21

It’s only been three days.

Eat it.

Thighmageddon · 13/05/2020 11:24

Good grief!

Some people think eating three day old leftovers, kept in a fridge is bad and think it should be binned?

I'll eat leftovers a week old that have been in the fridge.

WobblingMyWigglyBits · 13/05/2020 11:25

Eat it, it will be even more delicious

zscaler · 13/05/2020 11:27

It will be fine, deffo eat it

WorraLiberty · 13/05/2020 11:31

I'd eat it.

For some reason, I have a 3 day limit on all leftovers.

weepingwillow22 · 13/05/2020 11:34

How fresh was the mince when you made it? I am always a bit wary of the pre minced meat. If you nuke it in the micriwave it is probably fine though.

WindsorBlues · 13/05/2020 11:43

Make sure its pipping hot when you heat it up and it'll be fine. Enjoy!

Icanflyhigh · 13/05/2020 11:44

Definitely eat it!

ThePittts · 13/05/2020 11:44

I would eat it !

punbelievable · 13/05/2020 11:46

Nuke in microwave and enjoy! I actually think it's better a few days old :)

chunkyrun · 13/05/2020 11:46

Tuesday would be my cut off. I had a bad food poisoning experience once though so now I'm probably more cautious then most

mynameiscalypso · 13/05/2020 11:47

Yeah, the mince would be my only concern. If it was going off on the day you made the lasagne for example, I'd be a bit wary. But then again, I really like lasagne so I'd probably still eat it.

Roussette · 13/05/2020 11:49

Why in god's name wouldn't you?

A bolognaise sauce or lasagne tastes so much better after a few days in the fridge. Even chefs say up to 5 days.

Tootletum · 13/05/2020 11:51

Sure it'll be fine just make sure it's hot.

Nanalisa60 · 13/05/2020 11:53

home made lasagna made on Sunday, will be just fine to eat today in fact it will taste better then it did on Sunday.

Bit like second day soup always tastes better!!

RainbowGlittersandSparkles · 13/05/2020 11:55

Eat I’ve a portion of bolognese in my fridge I made Sunday. Gonna have tonight

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 13/05/2020 11:59

I expect an expert will be along to comment but if the mince was thoroughly cooked on Sunday (and in lasagne it should be after stovetop cooking of sauce followed by baking in oven) then I can't see there's any great risk as long as it's thoroughly reheated now. My only query is how you've resisted eating it for three days! I love lasagne.

DontStandSoCloseToMe · 13/05/2020 12:05

I'd still eat it this coming Sunday

KitMarlowesCodpieceOfThigh · 13/05/2020 12:09

Eat it. It'll be lush.

danni0509 · 13/05/2020 12:14

Eat it. I love lasagne.

I've just bought a Tesco ready made one for tea tonight because I'm a lazy bitch

RandomWordsandaNumber5 · 13/05/2020 12:24

Eat it! Just make sure that it’s heated through and piping hot.

DanniArthur · 13/05/2020 12:35

I'd eat it, give my DP the option to but I'm not sure I would give it to DD tbh

runwithme · 13/05/2020 12:36

Leftover lasagne is the best! I made one on sunday, wasnt that keen on it, had leftovers last night and it was delicious

Nowisthemonthofmaying · 13/05/2020 12:36

Why would you not eat it? It's only three days not three weeks.

Mind you lasagne never lasts that long in this house...
