Governments have always had corruption to some degree but this feels different... Blatant even. We've had no real opposition until now so maybe that's allowed the brazenness. Russia report suppressed, electoral fraud investigation dropped. Our democracy at stake.

Why would any sane government appoint people to the cabinet office that didn't share the same political views . Sounds pretty sensible to me, its a Conservative government after all not a Labour one!

Non execs of companies do have responsibilities. They have the same legal responsibilities and potential liabilities as executive directors. Not sure how that fits with the cabinet though.
