6 year old birthday (boy)

Aibu to wonder how you would celebrate a 6 year old boys birthday at this time and what presents you would get them?
Not really aibu but posting for traffic..!

Do you have a tent? Could you set it up in the garden or in the house and do a camping party? Bbq? Small fire to toast marshmallows? If he's into something such as dinosaurs or pirates or whatever you could make that the theme. Or you could arrange an obstacle course in the garden? Or a treasure hunt? You could do this in doors too, Hide small treats and leave clues for the next one?
My DS loves any out door toys, swing ball, small golf set, football goal. Hope he has a fab birthday whatever you decide to do.
