To quite fancy (the idea of) a mosh pit/ hug

Talking to DH earlier and for some reason we were speaking about things like festivals not being the same for a long time and the topic of a horrible, sweaty mosh pit- right near the front of a band- came up. I've not really been too bothered about these before,
at least not since my early 20s, but I think all the social distancing has taken its toll. Even just a regular gig, you're usually in close proximity to a few strangers. Basically, now I want to be squashed up close with a few strangers just because I can't. I wonder if this will ever happen again... I wonder if festivals will happen again. I wonder if hugging will ever be the same again. AIBU to be wondering about these somewhat silly things?

Also, I know we've all really got bigger issues going on. This is a silly thought

I was once on the front row and the topless sweaty singer was right in front of me, and I stroked his sweaty back. And then licked my hand. I doubt that will happen again tbh.

I think it's for the best that doesn't happen again. It all feels impossible now, as this 'new normal' has taken hold. So many times in small venues, I've thought, "I wish people would give me some space!" Now I'm missing it. How strange.

It will happen again. People cannot live this way forever.
