Did anyone's DC stay up to watch it tonight? I let DS9 watch until the end while I was putting his younger sister to bed. He came up very upset at pictures just shown on it of the Chinese dog meat trade (one of the acts was a rescue dog and owner). I remember how upset and shocked I was when I first saw these as a twenty something and am now so worried and sad for DS who is saying he can't get them out of his head.
It's heartbreaking enough that there's such horrific cruelty in the world and children having to know about it is even worse. It was after 9pm admittedly, but its a family show... AIBU to think they shouldn't have shown the images?
Guess that's the last time for a while I'll be letting him stay up to watch TV after the watershed.
I'm worried he's going to google it and find way, way worse - it all comes up despite safe search settings.
Can anyone tell me if there are any specific filters that would include animal cruelty images as well as porn and violence?
